Everbridge is a system used by the City to make notifications to the local residents and businesses during the event of an emergency, extended power outage, traffic incidents, or other community event, of which local areas of the community need to be notified.

Residents and people who work in the City can choose whether to get alerts via text message, phone call, e-mail, and/or push notification on a mobile device. If an individual lives outside the Oak Ridge City limits, but works in the city, then they can register their cell phone at the business address and receive notifications while at work.
