for the
July 1, 2018, through June 20, 2019

The City of Oak Ridge will hold a public hearing to gain citizen input on the proposed program model for the CDBG Entitlement Program for the period of July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019, (PY18/FY19) which is the second year of the City of Oak Ridge CDBG Consolidated Plan 2017-2020. Suggestions for potential use of CDBG Entitlement funds will be solicited, both verbally and in writing, from all interested parties. CDBG Entitlement funds appropriated for PY18/FY19 are estimated to be $213,000.00. These funds must meet a HUD National Objective and benefit low/moderate income (LMI) individuals and/or areas.

Citizens are encouraged to attend the public hearings to provide suggestions to City staff for uses of the CDBG Entitlement funds. If unable to attend the hearing, please submit written comments or provide survey submission online, no later than April 2, 2018.

The first set of public hearings will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. and then again from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, and will be held at:

The second set of public hearings will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018. The first meeting on that date will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the City of Oak Ridge Public Library Auditorium at 1401 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN 37830. A second meeting will be held from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Scarboro Community Center lobby area, located at 148 Carver Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
