The Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department next swimming lessons session will start next week on January 15th and 17th. This session still has openings; classes are held on Tuesday or Thursday. Classes include the Preschool Aquatics, (for children to start developing good attitudes and safe practices around the water and can separate from their parents), Parent–Child (for children 6 months to 3 years with their parent), as well as additional levels of 1-4 and adult swimming lessons. There are 8 different classes available, each 30 minutes long.
The fee for each class is $65; an additional $10 non-resident fee will be added for children who reside outside Oak Ridge. Interested participants should register at the Civic Center front desk.
