At part of the Woodland Town Center development, a new traffic signal will be activated at the new South Illinois Avenue and Woodland Terrace East intersection on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.  The signal will allow access to Illinois Avenue for the new Aubrey’s and Panera Bread restaurants, the Woodland community and future developments as envisioned in the approved South Illinois Avenue Corridor Study.  The closed Dean Stallings car dealership site on the west side of Illinois Avenue will have access to the signal when the property re-opens.  Installation of the signal could be delayed due to inclement weather.

Motorists are urged to use caution traveling through the intersection. The City appreciates the public’s patience with this new traffic control measure.
