Memory Magic Scrapbook Event Returns to Oak Ridge

The Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department is sponsoring the Memory Magic Scrapbook event to be held at the Oak Ridge Civic Center on September 23 & 24.

The event will include a vendor fair, classes and a large crop area. Register online at Cropping and classroom space is limited and participants will be accepted on a first come basis.

The crop area will open for seating each morning at 8 am. Participants who purchase a crop ticket may reserve their crop space the entire day. The Crop parties will be held both evenings from 6:30 to 11:30 pm. Participants will receive a goody bag, light snacks and tickets for prize drawings. Prizes will include four Cricut Expressions, personal photo scanners, Ott craft lights and other scrapbook tools and supplies. Crop party admission is $25 for one day or $40 for both days.

The vendor fair will open at 9 a.m. each morning. Vendors that are currently registered include Close to My Heart; Creative Memories; Linda’s Scrapbooking/Thirty-one gifts; Scrapbook It!; Scrappin’ in the City; Scrappin’ in the Foothills and Stampin’ Up!
Admission to the vendor fair is free to the public between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Shopping after 6 p.m. is for crop participants only.

Classes will be offered on Friday and Saturday. Classes are $20 each or $35 for two. Event passes are $65 and include four classes and one crop pass. Add a second day of cropping for an additional $10. Other package options are listed on the event web site.
