2011 Oak Ridge Wildlife Management Area Turkey Hunt This Weekend, April 16 - 17
The
second
2011 Oak Ridge Wildlife Management Area turkey hunt will be this weekend (April 16-17). On the turkey hunts for all units, except the Tower Shielding Facility unit, one non-hunting juvenile under the age of 16 may accompany an adult hunter (18 years old or older) who has a valid Oak Ridge WMA permit.

TWRA wildlife managers Jim Evans (755-4930) and Shannon Young (755-4845) can be reached for the duration of the hunt for any questions or concerns that may arise. Please do not hesitate to contact one of them with hunt questions and/or hunter concerns that may arise over the course of the weekend. The phone number at the check station is 576-2380. Hunting ends at
noon
each day.
