Free Youth Tennis Clinics

The City of Oak Ridge and Oak Ridge Tennis Club. will be co-sponsoring free youth tennis clinics this spring. This program will once again be held at the Jackson Square Tennis Courts on Wednesdays. Two sessions will be offered with participants divided by grade level. The first session scheduled from 2:30 – 3:30 on April 13th, 20th and 27th will be for students in grades 5, 6 and 7. The second session for students in grades 2, 3 and 4 will be offered from 4:00 – 5:00 on May 4th, 11th and 18th. Please note the time change for the second session due to later Wednesday school dismissal times in May.
To participate, parents must register their children at the front desk of the Civic Center. Parents are also asked to volunteer their help with on and off court duties. For more information please contact David Bowman at 389-5176 or refer to the Recreation and Parks Department’s web page at
