Teen Programming

Teen Space

Do you need a space for some quiet study time? What about an area where you can work on a group project? Or maybe even just somewhere to do fun activities and crafts? Look no further! The Oak Ridge Public library is offering its teen space every Wednesday from 2pm-5pm in the auditorium.

The foretelling

Join us on October 27th in the Library auditorium for The Foretelling, a Halloween teen event presented by Oak Ridge Public Library and the Youth Advisory Board.

We foresee activities such as candy guess, ball toss, board games, and crafts! Make a shrinky-dink key chain, design a sugar skull, and decorate a paper lantern. Oh, and there will be snacks! All participants will receive a ticket for entry into a raffle for door prizes, with prizes ranging from gift cards to mystery boxes.

  • Doors will open at 2:00pm.
  • Raffle winners will be announced at 4:00pm.
  • The Foretelling will end at 5:00pm.

Book It! Reviews

Do you love books? Do you like reading? Do you look forward to diving into the world of an upcoming book when it's announced?
Well, you're in luck! If you're between the ages of 14 and 18, stop by the Children's Room and grab an uncorrected Advanced Reader Copy to read and review a book!

Contact the Children's Room if you would like to learn more about this program.
