library auditorium

 

The Library Auditorium is available for rental for business or personal events.  It is a large meeting room with a seating capacity of 100 and a stage.  The normal setup is auditorium style (10 rows of chairs), with two 6' tables.  There is a podium on the stage, a pull-down screen and a chalkboard.  We do not provide any other equipment.   

Room Rental Rates

Classification is determined by primary usage.  Users will be classified as follows for the purpose of determining rental rates: 

Class I: City administered programming 
Class II Youth and senior citizens activities 
Class III  Oak Ridge community organizations and adults
Class IV  Commercial use, non-resident and non-Oak Ridge organizations

   Class II Class III  Class IV 
1 hour     $6.00 $10.50    $43.50 
4 hours  $18.00 $31.50     $130.50 
8 hours  $30.00  $52.50  $217.50 
All Day  $54.00 $94.50  $391.50 
Kitchen Usage Fee   $5.00 $10.00    $24.00     
There is a $25.00 charge for any set-up other than the normal auditorium arrangement.
