City of Oak Ridge Boards and Commissions are authorized by City Council. At present, there are fifteen (15) such boards and commission in the City, but the Council can create other boards as it deems necessary. Oak Ridge residency is required for appointment to a City Board or Commission.  The City performs a end-of-year election for expiring terms  of City Boards and Commissions, typically, in December.  The information listed below highlights any current recruitment by the City to fill vacancies and expiring terms:
