Current Budget

The City of Oak Ridge fiscal term runs from July 1 to June 30. The budget is developed in accordance with the City Charter, applicable city ordinances, state and federal laws, and city policies and procedures. The budget serves as a primary planning document for the operation and management of the City, and is approved annually by City Council. Typically, the budget appropriation ordinance is scheduled for Council’s consideration in May for the upcoming fiscal year.
