Oak Ridge Selected to Receive Tourism Enhancement Grant

Jul 30, 2018 - The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development recently announced that Oak Ridge had been selected to receive a 2018 Tourism Enhancement grant. The funds will support projects that improve some of the city’s key tourist attractions.

Tennessee Avenue Reconstruction Project Update

Jul 27, 2018 - A road reconstruction project affecting Tennessee Avenue is expected to continue into the fall. Crews are scheduled to begin concrete work at the site in just a matter of days. The next phase will include road surface paving.

Outdoor Pool Expanded Schedule for August

Jul 27, 2018 - The City of Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department will be extending open hours at the outdoor pool into the month of August. The last day of the season for open swim will be August 18.

UPDATE: Oak Ridge Turnpike Lane Closure Extended

Jul 26, 2018 - The outside eastbound lane of Oak Ridge Turnpike from Lafayette Drive to East Division Road will remain closed as work progresses on the Intersection Improvement Project. Crews will enforce the lane closure between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
