Notice of Ongoing Sewer Line Inspections in Oak Ridge

Oct 31, 2019 - The Oak Ridge Public Works Department continues to utilize state-of-the-art technology to perform inspections of the City’s sewer system. This project is scheduled to resume on Monday, November 4, and continue periodically over 3-4 months.

Temporary Road Closure on Oct. 31 for “Halloween House”

Oct 25, 2019 - A temporary road closure is planned along part of Nebraska Avenue for Thursday, October 31, between the hours of 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. A small portion of the 100-block of Nebraska, between Newridge Road and Newhaven Road, will be blocked.

City Finalizes WIFIA Loan for New Water Treatment Plant

Oct 18, 2019 - The City of Oak Ridge closed on the $20.7 million Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) loan on October 17. The funds provided by the federal loan program will be used to design and construct a new water treatment plant.
