NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

MONDAY MAY 8, 2017 AT 7:00 p.m. (local time)

Municipal Building Courtroom

 

To provide information about the City of Oak Ridge application for a

CLEAN WATER STATE REVOLVING LOAN FUND

consisting of one loan in the total amount of $3,100,000

to construct the Turtle Park Pump Station Improvements Project

and the resulting impact on monthly water/sewer bills.

The City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, will hold a PUBLIC MEETING during the City Council meeting on May 8, 2017 which begins at 7:00 p.m. (local time) in the Municipal Building Courtroom, 200 S. Tulane Avenue, Oak Ridge, to provide information concerning the application for a Clean Water State Revolving Loan (CWSRF) Fund.

The Turtle Park Pump Station Improvements Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major work elements:

  • Replacement of sewage lift pumps
  • Replacement of backup generator
  • Associated site and electrical work

The City of Oak Ridge will request CWSRF funding of a $3,100,000 loan with a repayment term of twenty (20) years.

Citizens are encouraged to attend the public meeting.  If unable to attend the meeting, please submit written comments, no later than Wednesday May 3, 2017:
