The Zumba Fitness Program, sponsored by the Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department, will kick off the month of April with a new instructor and lower fees. Classes will be held 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings through May.
Join Katie Crowder, licensed Zumba Instructor, for this amazing total body workout. Zumba will get your heart pumping and increase your endurance. This workout will give you more energy while burning fat. Besides the physical benefits, Zumba is a "feel good" workout, not a dreaded chore because the music is motivating and fun.
Participants may register for classes at the Civic Center recreation building Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The drop-in fee for each class is $5. A $20 punch card is available and is good for six classes.
An annual $20 non-resident fee will be charged to all participants living outside of the Oak Ridge City limits.
