David (Dave) Mosby has been a resident of Oak Ridge since 1980.  He is a Project Manager for BWXT Y-12 and has more than 12 years of project management experience.  He received a degree in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and has done graduate work in Engineering Management at the University of Tennessee.  He is a registered professional engineer in  the states of Tennessee and Mississippi.

Dave has been active in many community service organizations.  Some of the volunteer organizations and responsibilities include:

Dave is married to Donna Mims Mosby who is the Executive director of Scarboro Day Care Center.  They have four children – Brittany, Tyler, MaKenzie, and Riley – who are all students in the Oak Ridge School System.  Dave is a Sunday School Teacher at Oak Valley Baptist Church and is owner of Fade to Black Barbershop.  His hobbies include developing businesses in the community, spending time with his family, and cooking.
